Collecting wild medicinal plants is an ancient practice rooted in many societies, where they are collected for their medicinal and nutritional properties. Al Jabal Al Akhdar area has many regions with wealthy vegetation with folk medicine uses. Among these regions is The Jarjar Oma regions. Survey results indicate that there is a total of 78 species within the Jarjar Oma region, which within 70 genera distributed over 33 families. 1 family 1 species is classified as Gymnosperms, while 32 families are classified as Angiosperms. Among the Dicotyledons, which 67 species within 59 genera distributed over 26 families. while monocotyledons include 6 families, 10 genera, and 10 species. Obtained the highest dominance The Asteraceae family 19% species and followed by the Fabaceae family 13% species. As for the genera, the genus Trifolium sp. obtained the highest dominance. The active ingredient, flavonoid, was present in most of the recorded plant species, and followed by the Saponins.
