This study evaluated the responses of internal and external offal characteristics of broiler chickens to Poultry BS (Probiotic) supplementation as indicators of physiological adaptation and production safety. Eighty day old broiler chicks were assigned to a completely randomized design with four treatments, consisting of a control group without Poultry BS supplementation and three levels of Poultry BS administered through drinking water at 0.25%, 0.50%, and 0.75% of weekly target body weight. At the end of the rearing period, birds were slaughtered and the relative weights of internal offal (heart, liver, gall bladder, and spleen) and external offal (head, neck, and feet) were expressed as percentages of live weight. The results showed that Poultry BS supplementation did not significantly affect the relative weights of internal organs, indicating that normal physiological development and organ proportionality were maintained across all treatments. In contrast, Poultry BS supplementation significantly reduced the proportion of neck weight relative to live weight, while head and feet percentages remained statistically unchanged. The low variability among treatments suggests consistent responses to Poultry BS inclusion. These findings indicate that Poultry BS supplementation selectively influenced the distribution of external offal without disrupting internal organ development or skeletal-related components. Overall, Poultry BS can be considered physiologically safe when administered through drinking water and may contribute to more efficient nutrient utilization in broiler production systems.
