The present article deals with specific botanical epithets, expressed by adjectives and participles, that indicate sensory perceptions such as the feeling of touch, smell, and taste. The article contains a list of alphabetically arranged epithets, as well as a linguistic analysis of adjective types by composition and the word-formative methods applied to them. Each adjective is represented with its dictionary forms, a short etymological note, and the binomial denomination(s) in which it participates. Either the common English name or a literal translation of the scientific Latin name is added after each plant name.
The article is based on the "Conspectus of the Bulgarian vascular flora", Sofia, 2012.
