A study was conducted to evaluate the effects of supplementing carrot leaf water extract in drinking water on the performance and egg physical quality of 30–36-week-old Lohmann Brown layers. The experiment employed a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of four treatments and five replicates, with each replicate containing four Lohmann Brown hens. The treatments included: plain drinking water (P0), drinking water supplemented with 2% carrot leaf water extract (P1), 4% carrot leaf water extract (P2), and 6% carrot leaf water extract (P3). The parameters measured were production performance and egg physical quality. The results indicated that supplementation at 2%, 4%, and 6% significantly affected (P<0.05) egg number, hen-day production, feed intake, feed conversion ratio, and egg grade. However, no significant effects (P>0.05) were observed on drinking water intake, average egg weight, total egg mass, albumen percentage, yolk percentage, shell percentage, or shell thickness. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that supplementing drinking water with 2%, 4%, and 6% carrot leaf water extract can improve productivity particularly egg production, hen day production, and feed efficiency while reducing feed intake and enhancing egg grade
